Software Integrator  

 MANDEX currently has a need for a Software Integrator to support our SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic Global Command and Control System / Tactical Combat Operations (GCCS-TCO) / Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture Workstation (JTCW) team in North Charleston, SC. The GCCS-TCO/JTCW Integrated Product Team (IPT) provides full spectrum lifecycle engineering, logistics, and program management services for the sustainment of system platforms at the direction of Marine Corps Systems Command in support of United States Marine Corps (USMC) operating forces worldwide.

The Integrator will support the government appointed IAM and ISSE as well as fellow engineers through requirements collection and integration, design and implementation process. Responsibilities include:

·         Help develop the Risk Management Framework package to maintain the systems accreditation. 

·         Work with the project IAM to perform ACAS security scans as well as support the accreditation process.

·         Provide oversight ensuring the products developed to support these USMC project are secure.

·         Ensure the GCCS and JTCW baseline software which includes Information Assurance (IA) updates and software releases contain fixes to software deficiencies and approved system capability upgrades by performing ACAS scans and STIG checks. The information gathered during these activities will be used to create and maintain POA&Ms that will be used to track the systems security posture.

·         Performing STIG checks against Windows, Solaris, and Linux operating systems in addition to running ACAS and NESSUS scans on the products delivered 

·         Generating documentation to support the accreditation process

·         Assisting the IAM and ISSE in identifying security controls and putting together the accreditation package



·         Windows based systems administration/configuration/installation skills.

·         Familiar with troubleshooting Windows and applications and familiarity with the functions of the Windows registry, directory structure, and Group Policy is a plus 

·         Experience with VMware virtualization technologies 

·         Understanding of Linux (RedHat) 

·         Experience working with and securing various UNIX and Linux operating systems in accordance with the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS), other Department of Defense regulations, and industry standard best practices 

·         Experience applying vendor specific patches to UNIX and Linux based operating systems, as well as any other supported software running on computer systems 

·         Experience deploying systems that successfully achieve and maintain ATOs in a DoD environment, either via DIACAP or RMF 

·         Knowledge of NIST, FISMA and DISA security and accreditation guidance 

·         Experience establishing baseline security controls based on NIST guidance 

·         Experience with DISA STIGS, ACAS and/or NESSUS 

·         Knowledge of and training in the Risk Management Framework is also desired 


·         Bachelor’s in related field preferred.
