Logistics Analyst - MHS WLAN

MANDEX currently has a need for a Logistics Analyst to join our MHS WLAN team in Charleston, SC. The Logistics Analyst is responsible for assisting SSC Atlantic in tracking, and maintaining supplies in a warehouse space in support of Military Healthcare System LAN/WLAN installation tasks. Analyst will work closely with Integrated Logistics Support to control, document, store, ship/receive, inspect, and process material equipment items into and out of warehouse spaces. Warehouse spaces will be kept safe and secure, items will be inventoried and accounted for, and transactions will be recorded/documented per SPAWAR policies and procedures. Responsibilities include:

·         Prepare operational management/user documents

·         Create/support integrated logistics implementation plans

·         post-production support plans

·         Implement logistic plans, databases and support files to support new complex information systems or major modifications.

·         Perform logistics database management functions.

·         Perform logistics inventories and related logistics functions.

·         Provide tracking and status reports.

·         Ensure distribution and delivery commitments.

·         Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment

·         Manage receiving schedule of inbound shipments for vendors

·         Utilize computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, id and tracking of materials

·         Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes.

·         Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Adobe

·         Must have excellent communication & interpersonal skills

·         Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate with employees of the organization

·         Must be organized, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

·         Knowledge of LAN/WLAN electronics and infrastructure materials desired, but not required

·         Proficiency in CMPro desired, but not required

EXPERIENCE:

·         DoD logistics training and experience

·         Four (4) years working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.

EDUCATION: 

·         Bachelor’s degree in related field and Professional Logistics Certification – i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 1

 Security Level:

·         This position requires the ability to receive and maintain a security clearance.
