MANDEX achieves CMMI Level 2 Rating in both Development and Services

MANDEX has attained Capability Maturity Model Integration Level 2 in both Development and Services for the company’s approach to Integrated Electronic Security Systems engineering and installation, IT infrastructure design and installation, Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Military Health Systems LAN, and C4ISR Systems Support.

The CMMI maturity level 2 was awarded after an independent appraiser evaluated over 20 process areas across MANDEX’s program management and technical competencies in April 2018.

The CMMI level 2 appraisal indicates that MANDEX’s critical core processes are performed at a “managed” level and those processes are continuously updated and improved.

MANDEX, a Fairfax, Virginia-based government contractor, was recently named one the fastest growing companies in 2017 by the Washington Business Journal.

MANDEX offers Enterprise Information Technology management, cyber-security, IT transformation and modernization services, Electronic and Physical Security solutions, and C4ISR Systems Support to federal civilian, defense and intelligence organizations.

Fairfax, VA — MANDEX has been awarded a $6,661,946.01 cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based contract to provide Software Integration, Information Assurance (IA), Test and Evaluation (TE), Requirements Development and Management, Engineering Support, and Enterprise Tool Support to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic (SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic) GCCS-TCO/JTCW IPT. The contract includes four one-year option periods, which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to the estimated amount of $34,812,849.58.   Work will be performed in Charleston, SC or FT. Meade, MD. The contract will continue through March 2023 should all options be awarded.  This contract was competitively procured under small business set aside competition. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity. This contract provides an EXCELLENT conduit for growth and additional new opportunities for our employees.

Charleston, SC — Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Atlantic awarded MANDEX, Inc., a $31M, 3 Year Delivery Order to provide services for Military Health Systems Local Area Network (MHS LAN) Information Transport. Under the Business & Force Support Small Business Set Aside PILLAR contract, MANDEX will provide survey, design, integration/modernization, and support of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wireless LAN (WLAN) infrastructure for all Department of Defense (DoD) Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) worldwide including CONUS and OCONUS locations supporting Military Health Systems (MHS) Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) Architecture systems.

MANDEX Inc., Fairfax, VA (N65236-14-D-4982) is being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee with provisions for firm-fixed-price task orders, performance based multiple award contract. The contracts are for the procurement of Ashore Systems engineering services. The services required include engineering development, design, procurement, fabrication, configuration, integration, installation, logistics, maintenance and life cycle support services for Ashore Systems. The cumulative, estimated ceiling value of the base year is $9,980,000. These contracts include options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative ceiling value of these contracts to an estimated $49,900,000. This contract action merely establishes a potential ceiling value and does not obligate the Navy to fund to the ceiling. Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C. (85 percent) and Washington, D.C. (15 percent). Work is expected to be completed by April 2015. If all options are exercised, work could continue until April 2019. SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic Navy working capital funds in the amount of $25,000 will be obligated at the time of award as the minimum guarantee and will be split among the six awardees; these funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract action establishes a potential ceiling value, in which funds are obligated on individual task orders for efforts that fall within the core competency areas. The multiple award contracts were competitively procured by full and open competition after exclusion of sources under small business set-aside provisions (10 U.S.C. 2304 (b)(2)) via the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center e-Commerce Central website and the Federal Business Opportunities website, with 20 offers received. MANDEX, Inc., Fairfax, VA (Department of Defense, 04.04.12) — MANDEX, Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award, cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based contract to provide architecture and systems engineering support services for various C4ISR programs and projects in order to support multiple war fighting, manpower, and logistics missions for commanders at all echelons, in all naval environments, and for joint, coalition, and allied forces. Each contractor will be awarded $6,250 at the time of the award. These contracts include options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of these multiple award contracts to a combined estimated $49,900,000. The work will be performed in Charleston, S.C., and is expected to be completed by April 2013. If all options are exercised, work could continue until April 2017. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with proposals solicited via the Commerce Business Daily’s Federal Business Opportunities website, and the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center e-Commerce Central website, with eight offers received. MANDEX, Inc., Fairfax, VA (Department of Defense, 04.02.12) — MANDEX, Inc., Fairfax, Va., are being awarded a $9,571,641 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based, multiple award contract to provide program management and integrated logistics to support the Navy, and other Department of Defense and federal agencies. These contracts include options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of these contracts to an estimated $47,858,205. Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C. (86 percent), and Washington, D.C. (14 percent), and is expected to be completed by April 2013. If all options are exercised, work could continue until April 2017. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. These multiple award contracts were competitively procured with proposals solicited and nine offers received via the Commerce Business Daily’s Federal Business Opportunities website, and the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center e-Commerce Central website.
