Facilities

MANDEX currently has two primary offices in the District of Columbia area and one in North Charleston, SC. Our headquarters are located in Fairfax, VA. We have offices supporting DoD and other government agencies at Upper Marlboro, MD and North Charleston, SC. MANDEX has personnel providing support in Norfolk, VA; Jacksonville, NC; Kings Bay, GA; Middleton, TN; Panama City, FL; Casa Grande, AZ; and Ocala, FL.

Security

MANDEX maintains appropriately cleared facilities to support our existing contracts. Our corporate Facilities Security Officer (FSO) is located at our headquarters office in Fairfax, VA with additional FSOs at satellite facilities to support existing operations.

Property Management

MANDEX has established and maintains a Property Management Plan (PMP) to account for all property received from or acquired for the Government during performance of a Government Contract. MANDEX maintains and makes available to designated Government representatives such records as described therein in accordance with procedures set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 45 and the DFAR Supplement (DFARS) Part 245 to provide accountability for all Government property until relieved of responsibility thereof. MANDEX also requires its subcontractors comply with the above regulations for all Government property in their custody during subcontract performance. Proper use and handling of Government property in accordance with prescribed MANDEX and Government policies for specified contractual requirements is the responsibility of each employee of MANDEX.

The MANDEX Property Management Plan has been reviewed and evaluated by DCMA as acceptable and compliant with the requirements of 52.245-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

Export Controls

MANDEX Export Compliance Program (ECP) is an operational program designed to ensure that international transactions and business decisions are consistent with U.S. export control laws and regulations. The general philosophy underlying MANDEX’s ECP is based on ensuring full compliance with applicable U.S. export laws and regulations, specifically, the U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls’ International Traffic in Arms Regulations (the “ITAR”) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security’s Export Administration Regulations (the “EAR”). As a matter of utmost priority, MANDEX strives to maintain, at all relevant levels of the Company, an understanding of U.S. export controls, policies, and requirements commensurate with the needs of the function being performed, and makes certain that those individuals involved in international transactions understand the importance of complying with U.S. export control laws and regulations.

MANDEX’s Export Compliance Procedures include a system for: registering MANDEX with the Department of State and maintaining such registration; determining at an early stage the licensing requirements of an article, technology or service; screening customers (individuals and companies) against U.S. government blacklists; screening customer activities against prohibited weapons proliferation-related activities; advancing export compliance concerns to MANDEX officials; ensuring that pertinent MANDEX employees are fully trained in export compliance; auditing compliance with the ECP; and ensuring that MANDEX does not cooperate with or agree to cooperate with the Arab League boycott of Israel.

MANDEX also carefully selects its logistics providers and maintains a list of preferred transportation companies that includes: Federal Express Corporation (FEDEX), United Parcel Service Co. (UPS), and DHL Global Forwarding (DHL).

Equipment and Lab Spaces

Upper Marlboro, MD

The Upper Marlboro, MD facility is located at 9440 Pennsylvania Ave, Suite 320, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. The facility supports the Office of Naval Intelligence. It has 3600 sq. ft. of office and system integration laboratory space with multiple platforms and is connected to the internet.

North Charleston, SC

MANDEX North Charleston’s facility incorporates over 7700 square feet of office, warehouse, and testing space. MANDEX North Charleston has active Pre-Installation Test and Check-out (PITCO) and Information Assurance testing space; office and cube areas for all employees, visitor, and government personnel; Government Property warehouse and equipment storage cage, conference rooms, and isolated power and networks available for use.

Our 550+ square foot Pre-Installation Test and Check-Out (PITCO) area houses equipment storage, fabrication and testing space as well as desk space necessary for developing, reviewing, and executing PITCO tests prior to deployment. The PITCO area has dedicated power and network ensuring isolation of systems during fabrication and testing.
